🎧 Two Timely Twin Cities Adventures & Related Podcast

Dear Reader,

Two Timely Things for you, with love from me.

FIRST:

I meant to send you a new podcast this week featuring my friend Keri Mangis in which we discuss her UPCOMING TEDxMINNEAPOLIS TALK AT ORCHESTRA HALL ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13, 6:00 pm!

(All caps, because this is a BIG deal and I am so proud of Keri.)

Instead, I'm going to share a link to my most recent podcast with Keri and release our new episode next week, talking about her TEDx experience so far. And if you haven't already guessed, I'll record a third episode afterwards with Keri, where she share what the actual TEDx talk was like. (Theme: Life, Rewritten.)

I encourage you to get a ticket to the TEDx show. I'll be there, so be sure to say hi.

SECOND:

THIS SUNDAY FROM 9:45 to NOON in St. Paul is my very first (hopefully in a series) Twin Cities in Person Sunday Morning Writing Revival. We'll gather at my friend's beautiful private home and the format is somewhere between the Circle calls I host on Zoom and the full-day in-person retreats I offer.

We'll write. We'll reflect. We'll drink tea.

In this time where we can feel so distant from each other, this is my version of in-person community building.

FREE for members of my Circle for Real-Life Writers. $25 for everyone else, spaces limited.

Want to join us? Reply to this email for the address and payment link.

Enjoy the episode and travel safely.

Love, Amy

PS—When I lead these kinds of live sessions, people make big leaps. It seems to me we could currently use some big leaps. Or simply safe spaces to be ourselves.

Reply to this email with questions.

(If we haven't met, introduce yourself and share some context.)

Dear Reader, These are highly uncomfortable times. Times of uncertainty. And we have all been through hard times before, and we have survived them. Dear Reader, Cara Pacific Campbell was the first person who took me up on my offer of a 1:1 Book Writing Mentorship and put her trust in me. I was grateful that someone so vibrant felt drawn to working with me. Looking back, it makes perfect sense. When we let ourselves pay attention, we're drawn to our people. Cara and I are both high-performing women who worked hard and paid a steep price with our health. As in, our bodies made us quit our careers when our minds thought that we could—had...
